Having the chess board on the wall has made the game especially fun for our seven year old son. We have a little wooden step stool underneath so he can reach the board. When he gets distracted or tired, we can walk away from the game for a while, and nobody knocks over the pieces before we come back to finish the game.
The chess board adds texture and interest to the decor of our family room, and brings us together as a family.
What a great invention!
